Job Summary:

Undisclosed is seeking a highly skilled Technical Administrator to join their Engineering team in Cardiff. As a Technical Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of the company's Repair Industrialisation plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize digital tools such as Miro, Smartsheet, Spotfire, and Teams to track technical project progress and ensure seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate shop technical reviews of new repairs and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Facilitate technical reviews between multiple stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Compile technical documentation, including routers, process/technique sheets, and other technical instructions, to support the site's NPI schedule.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the site's NPI schedule, ensuring efficient and organized operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance the use and development of digital tools.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree or demonstrated practical experience in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 months relevant experience in an engineering or technical aviation role, including internship/trainee time.
  • Knowledge of repair and inspection processes applicable to the overhaul of Aircraft Engine Components.
  • Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and software.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to compile concise and accurate engineering documentation.
  • Ability to effectively interpret inspection and repair sections of Engine Shop Manuals and other technical publications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, with a focus on influencing others and driving results.
