Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will join the Special Process and Repair NPI Engineering team in a technical support role. This position focuses on facilitating the execution of the site's Repair Industrialisation strategy. We are seeking an individual with a solid technical foundation who is eager to grow within the engineering team. The candidate must collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners to achieve objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing various digital platforms such as Miro, Smartsheet, Spotfire, and Teams to monitor the progress of technical projects.
  • Organizing technical reviews of new repair processes and methodologies.
  • Coordinating technical evaluations among multiple stakeholders.
  • Preparing technical documentation, including routers, process sheets, and other instructional materials.
  • Providing daily administrative assistance for the site NPI schedule.
  • Identifying enhancements to the NPI process through the application and development of digital tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A technical degree or proven practical experience in a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of 12 months of pertinent experience in an engineering or technical aviation role; internship or trainee experience is considered.
  • Familiarity with repair and inspection procedures applicable to the overhaul of aircraft engine components.
  • Proven proficiency in utilizing digital tools.

  • Ability to accurately interpret inspection and repair sections of Engine Shop Manuals and other technical literature.
