Job Opportunity for a Dedicated Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in the Worcester area.

The successful candidate will be working in a neurorehabilitation, recovery, and residential care service for individuals aged 18+ living with complex neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries, and stroke.

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Prioritize nursing care, recognize deterioration in a patient's condition, and escalate to the senior nursing team/clinicians immediately.
  • Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
  • Adhere to the NMC code of conduct and act as the patient advocate at all times.
  • Participate effectively in quality improvement initiatives for the ward, ensuring that the Ward KPIs are achieved and aligned with the company's quality standards.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Exposure to tracheotomy patients.
  • Significant post-registration nursing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team within healthcare.
  • An ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
  • Able to work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and nights.
  • Experience working in the private sector.
