About the Role

Haresfield Surgery is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality primary care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with undifferentiated diagnoses, providing evidence-based care and interventions.
  • Clinically examine and assess patient needs, planning and implementing care accordingly.
  • Prescribe and review medication, ensuring therapeutic effectiveness and adherence to national and practice protocols.
  • Work with patients to support compliance with and adherence to prescribed treatments, providing information and advice on medication regimens, side-effects, and interactions.
  • Prioritize health problems and intervene appropriately to assist patients in complex, urgent, or emergency situations.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a postgraduate diploma or degree in Advanced/Autonomous Practice Qualification.
  • Qualified Nurse Prescriber with experience in primary or urgent care environments.
  • EMIS Web experience and knowledge of chronic disease management.
