Position Overview

Are you dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Tameside Metropolitan Council is actively seeking to expand and enhance services for children and young people with SEND by recruiting several SEND Support Officers to bolster the capacity of our service.

The primary responsibility of the SEND Support Officer is to oversee the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment for children and young people with SEND, aged 0-25 years. This includes monitoring and reviewing processes in alignment with the Children and Families Act 2015.
