About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Lucid Connect Ltd. As a key member of our technology solutions provider, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure solutions, providing technical support, and contributing to infrastructure-related projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for complex infrastructure issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to our services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, and cloud-related problems, utilizing your expertise in Windows Server, Linux, and networking technologies.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets effectively, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular system health checks and performance audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations.
  • Manage and optimize storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Server Management
  • Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement server patching, upgrades, and security measures, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Monitor server performance and capacity, making recommendations for improvements and ensuring seamless scalability.
Networking
  • Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
  • Configure and maintain VPNs, LANs, and WANs, ensuring seamless communication between teams and stakeholders.
  • Implement network security protocols and best practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
Microsoft Cloud Technologies
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Manage Azure cloud services and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.
Virtualization
  • Manage VMware vSphere environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
Project Support
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to our services.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve IT infrastructure, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
  • Assist in capacity planning and budgeting for infrastructure upgrades, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams on cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Pre-Sales Support
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with potential clients to understand their infrastructure needs, ensuring accurate solution design and delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of infrastructure solutions, showcasing our expertise and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and solution designs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
  • Provide technical expertise during client meetings and calls, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in estimating project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for potential engagements, ensuring accurate and realistic expectations.
