About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Metrology Engineer to join our Instrumentation Calibration Services (ICS) team at BAE Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of metrology engineers to ensure the calibration, maintenance, and delivery of test and production equipment.
  • Research and resolve complex problems and issues related to metrology and calibration.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Metrology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in metrology and calibration, with a strong background in quality control and process improvement.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve high-quality results.
