Position: Field Sales Specialist

JJ Food Service is seeking a skilled Field Sales Specialist to target and acquire new high-profile clients at a complex level. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market, with a primary focus on expanding the JJ brand into new territories. Success in this role will be evaluated based on the number of new clients acquired, their retention rates, and the overall increase in sales revenue and gross profit.

This position is field-based, requiring flexibility and the ability to travel as necessary.

Compensation: Up to £40,000 per annum + OTE Bonus

Key Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in new business development within the Food Service Sector or a national accounts role, with a proven track record of success across multiple sectors.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong selling and negotiation capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insights and key profit drivers.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid understanding of JJ Food Service Ltd and the high-end restaurant sector.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Aptitude for meeting tight deadlines.
  • Awareness of industry trends, regulations, and legislation.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively pursue and secure new commercial business through effective prospecting and managing a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Comprehend the market dynamics and how the organization's offerings are utilized.
  • Develop and sustain customer relationships aligned with growth targets.
  • Employ effective strategies for winning contracts, highlighting the unique selling propositions of JJ Food Service Ltd while understanding clients' specific needs.
