Job Summary:

The Accommodation and Cleaning Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth delivery of the cleaning shift at Butlins. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the Accommodation and Cleaning Shift Manager will ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that team members are in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleaning shift is delivered to the highest standard, meeting the expectations of Butlins guests and staff.
  • Lead and motivate the cleaning team to achieve their objectives and deliver excellent results.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and rotas to ensure the smooth operation of the cleaning shift.
  • Monitor and control cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Maintenance, to ensure a seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or leisure industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
