Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join our Antibody Development Platform team. The successful candidate will support antibody discovery within internal New Product Development and external Custom Solutions, using their scientific and technical skills to deliver high-quality antibodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support aspects of the antibody generation process for monoclonal antibody projects using techniques involving molecular biology, ELISA, mammalian cell culture, and FACS.
- Use liquid handling automation to support high-throughput sampling and assays.
- Contribute to and implement process improvements and optimization with an operational excellence mindset.
- Work closely with key project stakeholders to relay project progress and delivery dates for key reagents, and contribute to the preparation of customer reports and recommendations.
- Support data management by analyzing data and recording within electronic laboratory notebooks in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 operational guidelines and Health and Safety Procedures.
- Contribute to housekeeping tasks to ensure the lab is tidy and continually stocked with key reagents and lab consumables.
Requirements
We are looking for a team player with a degree in a life sciences-related subject and experience working in a scientific industry/lab. The ideal candidate will have flexibility in their work style, be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, and provide high-quality standards throughout their work. Prior experience in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, or standard binding assays like ELISA or HTRF is desirable.
