Job Title: Experienced Research and Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Research and Development Engineer to join our team at I Holland. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for managing and working on multiple development projects, from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve current processes and research new machining techniques.
  • Liaise with development partners to identify and capitalize on grant funding opportunities.
  • Oversee the Component Testing Program, ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Provide technical support to our Sales Team and Customers, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions and quality control procedures for new processes and products.
  • Draft R&D Tax Narratives for own and others' R&D projects, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and theories.
  • Previous experience in product development, project management, and research and development, preferably in a mechanical engineering context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.
