About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Community Learning Disabilities Team at the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will work as part of a well-established service, striving to improve the health and well-being of service users with Learning Disabilities across Leeds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of service users with a range of dietetic needs, including weight management, diabetes, nutrition support, and enteral feeding.
  • Work closely with health and social care partners, including the private and voluntary sectors, and adult social care.
  • Deliver training and education sessions for service users, carers, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical and managerial supervision, and attend local AHP Forums and Trust-wide dietetic meetings.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
  • Extensive post-registration experience in dietetics.
  • Experience of caseload management and working with service users with Learning Disabilities.
  • Interest in working with people with a Learning Disability.
  • Evidence of a range of knowledge and skills in dietetics.
