About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and artistic Pastry Chef to join our team at Palé Hall. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating exquisite desserts, breads, pastries, and bakery items that complement our fine dining menu, bistro menu, and traditional afternoon tea service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create innovative pastry dishes that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Work closely with our culinary team to develop new menu ideas and recipes
  • Manage the pastry section of our kitchen, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
  • Ensure that all pastry products are prepared to the highest standards of hygiene and safety
  • Collaborate with our events team to create bespoke pastry offerings for special occasions and weddings

Requirements

  • Industry-recognized qualifications in pastry arts
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a high-end pastry section, preferably in a four or five-star establishment
  • Proven track record of creating innovative and delicious pastry dishes
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
