We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite desserts, breads, pastries, and bakery items that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute innovative dessert menus that showcase your artistic flair and technical expertise
• Collaborate with our culinary team to create visually stunning and delicious desserts that complement our fine dining menu, bistro menu, and afternoon tea service
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation in all pastry and bakery items
Requirements
• Industry-recognized qualifications and a minimum of two years' experience in the pastry section of a high-end establishment, preferably with a minimum of AA Two Rosette standard
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with our culinary team and other departments
Benefits
• Competitive salary range of £33,000 to £35,000 per year, depending on experience

This is a full-time role, 48 hours per week, either four or five days over seven, Monday to Sunday.
