Service Charge Accountant

Portfolio Credit Control is seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the accounts team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise to support the growth and expansion of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly client reports, including client statements and cash flow analysis.
- Manage and reconcile service charge accounts, including balance sheet and extended trial balances.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end service charge reconciliations and VAT reconciliations.
- Deal with client and audit queries, and provide ETB reconciliations as required.
- Issue S20B notifications where accounts cannot be met within 6 months after year-end.
- Communicate with lessees, clients, and resident association members regarding service charge queries.
- Assist in the preparation of yearly service charge budgets and raise charges as necessary.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Extensive knowledge of Qube system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
