Role Overview
In this role, you will be stationed in a modern facility that is impeccably maintained. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the aesthetic and functional integrity of the building, engage with the community, and propose enhancements for optimal support to the individuals who work and visit the premises. You will enforce security protocols during nighttime hours, documenting any incidents to the client and security supervisor. This position also offers the chance to expand your knowledge and potentially assist during daytime operations with the client.
You will be tasked with ongoing surveillance of the premises and reporting any irregularities. Flexibility and a willingness to contribute as a key member of the team and the building community are essential. During your shifts, you will prioritize customer service while ensuring the security of the facility, collaborating with the client's front-of-house team.
We are also in search of someone who can take on additional responsibilities during the day as required. These tasks may include mail delivery, monitoring CCTV, overseeing the security team, and various other security-related duties. It is crucial to understand and strictly follow GUK's protocols regarding Health & Safety, security measures, and access control.
Comprehensive training will be provided, and we seek motivated individuals who will significantly contribute to the ongoing success of GUK.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of the facility (internally & externally) to identify any issues, ensuring the building is maintained, well-presented, and clean at all times. Report any faults to the Building Manager. Maintain a proactive attitude focused on 'how can we assist' in all interactions with the team and the residents. Provide information, directions, and escort residents and guests to their desired locations. Address any inquiries from residents and guests promptly and with urgency. Offer acts of kindness to residents and guests to foster a welcoming atmosphere and build rapport while maintaining professional relationships. Understand and strictly adhere to GUK's protocols regarding Health & Safety, security measures, and building access control.Required Qualifications:
SIA licence. Right to work in the UK. Excellent customer service skills. Basic report writing and IT skills, including the ability to compose emails and prepare incident reports. Proactive in recognizing priorities within your workload. Strong problem-solving abilities. Good command of spoken and written English.
