Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a vital member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties.
As a Night Security Specialist, you will be working closely with our security team to monitor activities, report incidents, and provide support to our clients. You will be equipped with the necessary tools and training to effectively carry out your duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property, and maintain all logbooks and records in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
- Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Interact with others in a supportive way and in accordance with our Core Values
Requirements:
- SIA and CCTV licence
- RTW and 5yr checkable history
- 2 years experience as a Security Officer
- Flexible, professional, and adept at working under pressure
- Outstanding written, verbal, and oral communication skills
- Customer-oriented with a passion for high-level service
- Polite and proactive
- Able to use initiative and highly adaptable
- Demonstrate the values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness which Securitas prides itself on
