We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our team, focusing on providing exceptional support in the Midlands and/or the North West of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site technical assistance to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Oversee line trials to foster new business opportunities.
  • Perform local color adjustments and application modifications as needed.
  • Facilitate regional color updates in collaboration with color departments.
  • Partner with Area Sales Managers to identify solution-based selling opportunities.
  • Conduct audits of plants and processes, generating reports to highlight areas for improvement.
  • Analyze and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Cultivate relationships with key accounts in the plastics sector, ensuring trust in Axalta's service quality.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA technical team to enhance personal knowledge and expertise regarding Axalta's plastic coating products and application methods.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficient understanding of both solvent-based and waterborne paint technologies.
  • Familiarity with application processes, products, and technologies.
  • Expertise in color matching and understanding effect variations.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Competent IT skills, including the ability to create presentations and analyses for diverse audiences.
