Role Overview: As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the initial point of contact for clients requiring medical assistance during their travels. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to make a significant impact by providing compassionate support to customers in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers by providing practical solutions and guidance during distressing times.
  • Collaborate with our in-house Medical team to facilitate medical assistance and emergency travel services.
  • Offer customer service support regarding policy coverage, monitor patient status, and coordinate travel emergencies.
  • Deliver pre-travel advice, arrange medical appointments or hospitalizations abroad, and manage air ambulance coordination.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all case handling in our systems.
  • Effectively manage escalated calls and resolve customer complaints.
  • Work towards achieving targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet business objectives.

What We Are Looking For:

We value candidates with prior experience in a contact center environment, particularly in insurance. While experience is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided. Ideal candidates should be resilient, motivated, and eager to learn, possessing the following skills:

  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating empathy and patience.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and familiarity with Outlook.
  • Capability to handle challenging conversations and resolve issues efficiently.
