About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional, psychological, and social support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Provide physical, domestic, and emotional care to individuals as needed.
  • Support individuals to develop independent living skills and promote social inclusion.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals.

Requirements:

  • Good IT skills and ability to use electronic records systems.
  • Valid UK driver's license.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Knowledge of PBS (Positive Behavioural Support) approach.
