About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead in Hertfordshire. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and monitor customer behaviours, identifying triggers and alleviating factors.
  • Plan and implement effective interventions to modify and resolve behaviours.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, families, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with community support organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Present and feedback on behavioural analysis to other professionals.
  • Report any concerns or incidents related to customer welfare.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.

Requirements:

  • Good IT skills and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism or challenging behaviours is desirable.
  • NVQ Level or equivalent is an advantage.
