About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead in Hertfordshire. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and monitor customer behaviours, identifying triggers and alleviating factors.
- Plan and implement effective interventions to modify and resolve behaviours.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, families, and other professionals.
- Collaborate with community support organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
- Present and feedback on behavioural analysis to other professionals.
- Report any concerns or incidents related to customer welfare.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.
Requirements:
- Good IT skills and a valid driver's license.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism or challenging behaviours is desirable.
- NVQ Level or equivalent is an advantage.
