About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional, psychological, and social support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans to promote independent living and social inclusion
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless support and care
  • Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or well-being
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the service
Requirements
  • Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
