Position: IT Service Desk Analyst
Company: Pertemps
Compensation: £15.38 per hour
Work Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first and second line IT assistance to users, addressing technical challenges through various communication channels.
  • Record and oversee all incidents and service requests utilizing the IT service management platform.
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and network complications, referring more intricate issues to advanced support when required.
  • Facilitate the installation and configuration of IT devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile technology.
  • Supervise and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Keep precise records of IT resources and refresh documentation as necessary.
  • Adhere to company IT policies and protocols.
  • Assist with additional IT-related tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an IT service desk or support capacity is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical troubleshooting expertise.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, capable of conveying technical matters to non-technical personnel.
  • Familiarity with IT service management applications and remote support tools.
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and fundamental networking concepts.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a customer-facing IT support environment.
