Position: IT Service Desk AnalystCompany: Pertemps
Compensation: £15.38 per hour
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first and second line IT assistance to users, addressing technical challenges through various communication channels.
- Record and oversee all incidents and service requests utilizing the IT service management platform.
- Diagnose hardware, software, and network complications, escalating intricate issues to advanced support when necessary.
- Facilitate the installation and configuration of IT devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile technology.
- Supervise and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Keep precise records of IT resources and refresh documentation as required.
- Adhere to company IT regulations and protocols.
- Assist with additional IT tasks as needed.
- Prior experience in an IT service desk or support capacity is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and technical troubleshooting expertise.
- Exceptional communication abilities, capable of articulating technical matters to non-technical personnel.
- Familiarity with IT service management applications and remote support tools.
- Understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and fundamental networking concepts.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a customer-facing IT support environment.
