Job Description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behaviour Buddies to work on a full or half day basis, providing support to pupils and reinforcing self-esteem. This role contributes to raising achievement and attendance, ensuring schools meet their attendance targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support pupil needs
  • Provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Adjust approach to meet changing behaviour needs of SEN pupils
  • Display a positive attitude and be reliable
  • Understand and follow safeguarding procedures
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications and training for the role
  • Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • FREE child protection and prevent duty training provided
