Pupil Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pupil Support Worker to join our team at a secondary school, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them engage positively with their education.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a calm and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver targeted support and promote student wellbeing.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport with students are essential.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people is crucial.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
