Behaviour Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a Secondary School in Rawtenstall. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in managing behaviour and providing a safe learning environment.
  • Work with students to develop strategies for managing their behaviour and improving their academic performance.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Provide individual and group support to students with behaviour needs.
Requirements:
  • Team Teach qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with students with behaviour needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
