Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in providing a supportive learning environment for students
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
  • Work collaboratively with therapists and support staff to deliver targeted interventions
  • Build strong relationships with students and their families
  • Support students with personal care needs

Requirements:

  • Graduate or aspiring Speech and Language Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups with students
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer:

  • Excellent on-site training and support
  • Competitive daily rate of £80-£85
  • Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
