As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Class Teacher in creating a safe and engaging learning environment for our students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with students, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Encouraging independence and personal growth among students.
  • Assisting with classroom management and adapting to the changing needs of the school.
  • Supporting the cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical, and spiritual development of students.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent).
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in a special school environment (highly desirable).
  • Team TEACH Training (desirable).
