Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Relief Officer to join our team at ISS Facility Services. As a key member of our security provision, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our client's sites, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the physical security of client premises
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure a secure environment
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks
  • Enforce access control and verify the identity of individuals on-site
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting and guiding visitors
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
  • Ensure high standards at all times, maintaining the professional image of ISS Facility Services
  • Undertake induction and training as needed to stay up-to-date with security protocols
  • Promote a secure and safe working environment at client sites

Requirements

  • Valid SIA licence
  • Proven experience in security or related field
  • Strong observational and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
