Page Personnel Sales is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team.
Job Summary
- Manage and monitor outstanding customer balances to ensure timely collection of payments in accordance with established credit terms.
- Proactively pursue overdue invoices through diligent communication and negotiation to secure payment plans.
- Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers to establish suitable credit limits.
- Prepare and present regular reports on aged debt, cash flow, and debtor performance to inform management decisions.
- Ensure all credit control activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve payment issues and improve cash flow.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate credit risk.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in credit control.
- Contribute to the development of credit control policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a credit control or financial role.
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
