About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities, complex health needs, and other support requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals in a residential setting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities and engage with their local community
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure high-quality care and support
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license (desirable)
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach
  • Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice experience
