About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Technical Lead to join our team at Red Sky Personnel. As a Utilities Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of utility systems, including water, gas, electric, and sewage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Oversee Utilities Supply Systems: You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of utilities supply systems as part of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and stakeholder needs.
  • Hydraulic Modelling and Analysis: You may be required to perform hydraulic modelling and analysis to determine the performance of existing utility systems.
  • Maintenance Schedules and Reliability: You will need to understand maintenance schedules applied to utility equipment and infrastructure to ensure works align with reliability of service and compliance with safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: You will coordinate with local stakeholders to meet environmental regulations and ensure infrastructure projects align with public policy and community plans.
  • Project Reporting and Presentations: You will prepare detailed project reports and presentations for stakeholders, including cost estimates, phasing, design, project timelines, and the impact of utility projects on the local community and environment.
  • Technology Evaluation: You will evaluate any new technologies and methods for utility system improvement, including renewable energy integration, water reclamation, and smart grid applications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Utilities Technical Lead or similar role
  • Strong understanding of utility systems and infrastructure projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
