This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Utilities Technical Lead to join a leading civil and infrastructure specialist with 70 years of experience. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing projects that maintain and improve/enhance/alter utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Oversee Utility Systems: Develop and implement designs for utility supply systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and stakeholder needs.
  • Hydraulic Modelling and Analysis: Perform hydraulic modelling and analysis to determine the performance of existing utility systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Understand maintenance schedules applied to utility equipment and infrastructure to ensure works align with reliability of service and compliance with safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with local stakeholders to meet environmental regulations and ensure infrastructure projects align with public policy and community plans.
  • Project Reporting: Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for stakeholders, including cost estimates, phasing, design, project timelines, and the impact of utility projects on the local community and environment.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies and methods for utility system improvement, including renewable energy integration, water reclamation, and smart grid applications.
