This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Utilities Technical Lead to join a leading civil and infrastructure specialist with 70 years of experience. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing projects that maintain and improve/enhance/alter utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Construction: Design and oversee the construction of utilities supply systems as infrastructure projects to ensure they meet regulatory standards and stakeholder needs.
  • Hydraulic Modelling: Perform hydraulic modelling and analysis to determine the performance of existing utility systems.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Understand the maintenance schedules applied to utility equipment and infrastructure to ensure works align with reliability of service and compliance with safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with local stakeholders to meet environmental regulations and ensure infrastructure projects align with public policy and community plans.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for stakeholders, which may include cost estimates, phasing, design, project timelines, and the impact of utility projects on the local community and environment.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate any new technologies and methods for utility system improvement, including renewable energy integration, water reclamation, and smart grid applications.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in utilities engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects. You will also need to have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
