Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Expert Casting Services: Provide high-quality casting services for Adult and Children's services, utilizing expertise in casting, splinting, and bracing techniques.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Teams: Work autonomously and effectively with strong time management and interpersonal skills to deliver expert specialist technical support across various clinical settings.
  • Participate in Care Assessment and Planning: Contribute to care assessment, planning, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practice to develop and implement care.
  • Offer Expert Advice and Training: Provide advice on specialized casting applications and instruct clinical staff on splint and brace usage.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will play a vital role in our outpatient and inpatient settings across the Adult and Children's services at our hospitals. Key qualifications include the British Orthopaedic Association casting qualification and registration with the Association of Orthopaedic Practitioners.
