About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant at Lidl in Deutschland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Efficiently manage deliveries, restocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Proactively maintain the bakery area, baking fresh goods and ensuring high-quality products are available for customers.
  • Expertly merchandise and maintain the middle aisles of Non-Food products, ensuring a visually appealing and easy-to-shop environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a drive to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and providing a positive shopping experience.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary based on equal opportunity and pay structures.
  • An extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts.
  • A generous benefits package, including 30-35 days' holiday (pro rata), 10% in-store discount, enhanced family leave and a contributory pension scheme.
