Position Overview

As a Wellbeing Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our dedicated team at Health and Care Management Ltd, providing essential support and guidance to our clients.

Location: Flexible remote working options available.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct initial consultations via telephone for our corporate clients and their dependents, offering tailored recommendations for personalized wellbeing assistance. You will facilitate a variety of stepped care interventions aimed at addressing reactive life challenges and prevalent mental health issues, including lifestyle enhancement, resource direction, self-help guidance, and online therapeutic support.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assess the current health concerns and identify any underlying factors or risks, both personal and occupational.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, elucidating the multifaceted issues related to their health and empowering them to address controllable risk factors.
  • Provide self-help support through telephone and video consultations, while also serving as a guide on digital platforms.
  • Recognize and escalate any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate managerial staff.
  • Collaborate with supervisors regarding ethical and operational matters.
  • Engage with clients in a respectful manner, honoring diverse beliefs and cultural practices.
  • Assist Case Managers with treatment referrals.
  • Uphold professional standards in accordance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Essential Skills

We seek a compassionate and confident Wellbeing Support Coordinator with exceptional communication abilities.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Proficient telephone communication skills, demonstrating effective listening and empathy during interactions.
  • Ability to establish supportive relationships with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Understanding of anxiety and depression, including their manifestations in the workplace and their impact on work performance.
  • Strong risk assessment capabilities for clients presenting with concerns, responding promptly in line with service protocols.
  • Familiarity with clinical and non-clinical care pathways.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, DPA, and ICO regulations related to occupational health.

Required Qualifications:

  • Professionally qualified as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Registered Mental Health Nurse, Counsellor, or equivalent, with membership eligibility in relevant professional bodies.
  • Alternatively, a degree in Psychology with graduate registration with BPS and experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.

This position is ideal for candidates with backgrounds such as Mental Health Counsellor, Psychology Graduate, or Mental Health Advisor.
