We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pastoral Manager to join our team at Tewkesbury Academy, part of the Cabot Learning Federation. As a Pastoral Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective student support and pastoral care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student wellbeing and behaviour.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, attendance, and behaviour, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a pastoral or educational setting, with a strong understanding of student wellbeing and behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the academy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of the Cabot Learning Federation, with a passion for improving student outcomes and experiences.
