As a Wellbeing Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our Careline team at Health and Care Management Ltd, providing essential support and guidance to individuals facing challenges related to their mental health.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct initial consultations via telephone for our corporate clients and their dependents who reach out for assistance. You will assess their needs and recommend tailored wellbeing solutions, ensuring they receive the appropriate support for their circumstances.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Identify the underlying causes of health concerns and any associated risk factors, both personal and occupational.
- Communicate effectively with clients, helping them understand the multifaceted issues related to their health and how they can manage risk factors within their control.
- Provide guided self-help support through telephone and video conferencing, adhering to service guidelines.
- Recognize and escalate any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate management personnel.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team managers regarding ethical and operational matters.
- Engage with clients in a respectful manner, honoring diverse beliefs and cultural practices.
- Assist Case Managers with treatment referrals.
- Maintain high standards of practice in accordance with professional and regulatory bodies.
We seek a compassionate and confident Wellbeing Support Coordinator with outstanding communication abilities.
Key skills and experience include:
- Proficient telephone communication skills, demonstrating effective listening and empathy during interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to build supportive relationships with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Understanding of anxiety and depression, including their manifestations in the workplace and their impact on work performance.
- Strong risk assessment skills for clients presenting with concerns, responding promptly in line with service protocols.
- Knowledge of both clinical and non-clinical care pathways.
- Familiarity with GDPR, DPA, and ICO regulations as they pertain to occupational health.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Registered Mental Health Nurse, Counsellor, or a similar mental health professional with eligibility for membership in recognized professional bodies.
- Alternatively, a Psychology degree with graduate registration with BPS and experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
This position is ideal for candidates with backgrounds such as Mental Health Counsellor, Psychology Graduate, or Mental Health Adviser.
