Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Rivendale Lodge Retreat in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

This is a permanent position with full-time or part-time hours considered, requiring flexibility to suit the needs of the business.

As a Grounds and Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the maintenance team with the upkeep of company buildings and guest accommodation.
  • Responding to maintenance requests from guests on site.
  • Assisting with renovation projects and attending planned daily maintenance tasks.
  • Completing necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance.
  • Assisting with the cleaning and maintaining of all hot tubs on change-over days.
  • Assisting the grounds team to ensure the appearance of the retreat is kept up to its five-star standard.
  • Assisting with grass cutting and strimming, edging, and weeding borders, as well as clearing pathways.
  • Ensuring the retreat is kept clear and free of debris.

Requirements:

Previous maintenance/grounds experience is an advantage. A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills is desirable. A driving license and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use of site buggies/vehicles.
