Moy Park is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our mill engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our feed mill by maintaining a proactive maintenance plan and providing support to our production teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a maintenance plan to minimize production downtime and ensure efficient mill operation.
- Provide technical support to production teams on the PPM system and assist in the purchasing and stock control of maintenance requirements.
- Maintain all pressure systems and lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
- Assist in obtaining quotations for plant improvements and capital plans, and maintain the current company permit to work system.
- Monitor and control any negative environmental impact arising from mill processes and ensure all direct reports and colleagues are briefed on their responsibilities.
- Hold relevant qualifications, including electrical and mechanical experience, and experience working on PLCs, inverters, and PPM systems.
