Finatal is a leading provider of financial services to rapidly growing businesses. As a trusted partner, we are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join our team.

**Role Overview**

The Interim Financial Controller will play a critical role in leading the finance team, managing financial reporting, and implementing strong internal controls. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the company's financial health and support its growth trajectory.

  • **Financial Reporting**: Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP standards.
  • **Internal Controls**: Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • **Cash Flow Management**: Manage cash flow planning and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet the company's operational and strategic needs. Monitor cash flow and identify potential risks.
  • **Audit and Compliance**: Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring all financial activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • **Financial Analysis**: Provide in-depth financial analysis to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Support strategic initiatives with relevant financial data and insights.
  • **Team Leadership**: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • **Experience**: Proven experience as a Financial Controller, preferably within a private equity-backed or multi-site business environment.
  • **Technical Skills**: Strong proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
