About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Enhanced RECONNECT initiative. This exciting opportunity will enable you to contribute to the implementation of the ER clinical model, working with individuals who have complex health needs and are at high risk of reoffending.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to clinical risk assessments and formulations, developing and delivering individualised care to support individuals to engage with their communities and address their mental health needs.
  • Apply your clinical expertise to offer interventions to service users, working extensively with partner organisations to ensure coordinated care.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, social workers, and peer support workers.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of working with adults with mental health presentations, psychological difficulties, neurodiversity, and complex needs and risks across a variety of forensic mental health settings.
  • Experience of partnership working across health, social care, voluntary sector, employment, and criminal justice agencies.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience of working with underserved groups would be an advantage.
