Job Title: Independent Reviewing Officer - Hybrid

At Tripod Partners, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Independent Reviewing Officer to join our team in a hybrid role. As an IRO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of young people in care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chair reviews for CLA young people, including associated administrative tasks.
  • Monitor the progression of care plans for allocated young people.
  • Attend supervision meetings monthly.
  • Travel as required to see young people and attend reviews countywide and beyond.
  • Highlight any drift in care planning and raise escalations as appropriate.
  • Ensure young people have the opportunity for an independent IRO visit at least annually.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in statutory social work functions, including safeguarding and support.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
  • Commitment to promoting social change, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and maximizing independence.
