Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Strategic Marketing Lead who is eager to leverage their knowledge in marketing strategy and implementation for a dynamic marketing team within a rapidly growing publicly traded organization. The ideal candidate will possess a solid history of crafting and executing multi-channel B2B marketing initiatives by collaborating with essential stakeholders across product development, sales, and sales support to achieve revenue targets. A comprehensive understanding of markets and customer needs will be crucial in guiding the go-to-market approach for successful product introductions.

The Strategic Marketing Lead will spearhead the global marketing strategy and execution for the Extreme Events Solutions division, ensuring alignment with the overarching global marketing team. You will engage with a team of highly skilled professionals while enhancing your expertise through a diverse range of projects. Your ability to articulate the value of Extreme Events solutions to international markets will be vital, as will your talent for fostering relationships with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market & Competitive Analysis – Utilize market insights, customer behavior, and competitor data to generate actionable recommendations that shape integrated positioning, messaging, and campaign strategies.
  • Customer Experience Mapping – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to utilize both proprietary and external research to refine target personas, understand buyer needs, and analyze purchasing decision processes.
  • Marketing Strategy Development – Lead and contribute to defining market opportunities for specific business areas through a thorough understanding of business objectives, solution offerings, roadmaps, and pricing strategies.
  • Campaign Management – Oversee the planning and execution of impactful marketing campaigns driven by data insights, including management of messaging timelines, campaign budgets, and evaluations of post-campaign performance.
  • Messaging & Positioning – With minimal oversight, demonstrate a solid grasp of the product/solution to draft marketing campaign briefs and messaging guidelines that capitalize on business opportunities to achieve strong marketing results.
  • Sales Support – Work closely with Sales and key marketing stakeholders to create compelling sales tools and ensure consistent trade show experiences that enhance and advance sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Thought Leadership – Maintain a holistic view of projects, taking initiative to deliver assignments on schedule and within budget while effectively navigating beyond formal responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in integrated, product, or channel marketing.
  • Proven success in developing marketing strategies and executing initiatives across multiple marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with the insurance sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage customer, market, and competitive insights to inform marketing and product strategy.
  • Successful history of collaborating with Product Management and Sales across various seniority levels to achieve key business objectives.
