About the Role

Engineered Arts Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors, as well as maintaining the integrity of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure that safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and lead evacuation drills.
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses, and implement preventive measures to minimize the risk of future incidents.
  • Manage facilities maintenance, upgrades, and repairs, ensuring that all essential systems are functioning properly.
  • Liaise with contractors and ensure that they comply with our health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
