Job Title: Head of Institutional Business Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Institutional Business Development to join our team at Manulife Insurance Malaysia. As a key member of our Institutional Distribution team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development and relationship management strategy to drive growth in the EMEA region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional clients, consultants, and other business partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure business performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to direct reports to ensure successful execution of business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of business development and relationship management in the institutional market.
  • Strong understanding of the investment management business and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Fluency in at least one additional European language (in addition to English).
