About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Close Brothers Asset Finance team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business and building on existing relationships within the construction and recycling sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering sales in the asset finance industry, with a strong ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally. You will be self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed set targets, with a proactive and tenacious approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source sales across the Yorkshire region through direct prospecting, sourcing new customers, and dealer introducers
  • Negotiate terms of agreement and close sales, gathering market and customer information
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
  • Coach and train area managers to ensure they are fully equipped to do their jobs, managing their performance and ensuring they achieve agreed-upon targets
  • Maintain a full comprehension of all finance products offered by Close Brothers Asset Finance, as well as associated add-on products
  • Work closely with the collections team, maintaining a satisfactory level of defaults within your own and your team's portfolio
  • Ensure that all governance and compliance requirements are adhered to, and all reporting and reviewing activities required by regulatory bodies are carried out to the required standards
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering sales in the asset finance industry
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed set targets
  • Proactive and tenacious approach to sales
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
  • Successful track record of planning and organizing effective sales activity
  • Excellent communication skills, with a direct and open style
