Position Overview:
The Strategy and Planning division is entering a notably active phase with the formulation of a new corporate strategy and the execution of our ongoing strategic objectives. In light of recent team adjustments, we are looking for a Strategy and Planning Officer (up to 1FTE) to become a part of our team for a minimum duration of 6 months. This role is fundamentally about assisting the team across three key domains: corporate strategy, strategic planning, and performance monitoring and reporting. This position presents an excellent opportunity to showcase your abilities while collaborating with the team to meet organizational requirements. You will report to a Senior Strategy and Planning Manager, supporting a variety of tasks and leading specific initiatives to enhance the team's functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Reporting:

Commissioning quarterly report contributions from Directors and Corporate Senior Leaders, ensuring accurate and timely qualitative and quantitative insights are derived from that data to inform the annual corporate business plan's quarterly progress reports.


Document Preparation:
Providing practical assistance to the team in generating documents that contribute to the development of our corporate strategy.

Meetings and Workshops:
Offering support to the entire team in organizing and preparing for meetings and workshops, including agenda creation and the documentation and distribution of key insights and action items.

Communication and Presentation:
Engaging in presentations during meetings and effectively communicating with all levels of the organization.

Adaptability and Resilience:

You will assist in various tasks across the team, taking on new responsibilities as needed to align with team objectives.


Team Support:
Managing the team inbox, highlighting important items, and directing them to the appropriate team members. Maintaining the team plan to contribute to monthly planning meetings. This list is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

- Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.

- Can navigate an ambiguous and evolving environment, identifying priorities and continuing to achieve team objectives.


About the Strategy and Planning Division:
The Strategy and Planning division is a small yet impactful team operating at the core of the organization, within the Strategy, Policy, and External Communications Directorate. We play a crucial role in shaping, producing, and communicating our corporate strategy throughout the business. Additionally, we collaborate across the organization to develop strategic roadmaps, the annual business plan, and public targets.

We facilitate strategic planning and prioritization activities with the Executive board, Main Board, and senior management, overseeing strategic priorities. We are also responsible for monitoring progress against our strategy through regular assessments and reporting.

Our team works collaboratively with colleagues at every level, providing support in translating strategy into actionable delivery, prioritization, and planning.

Our operations are organized around a cycle of developing and executing our corporate strategy, building annual plans, and monitoring and reporting on progress. We broadly focus on three areas: strategy, strategic planning, and performance monitoring and reporting, each led by a Principal Strategy and Planning Manager, supported by Senior Strategy and Planning Managers.
